Entry & visa requirements

Apply for an official GCC Resident Visit Visa (29N eVisa) online using the Royal Oman Police portal or travel visa-free if you are a UAE/GCC National.

Documents to carry

  • Original Passport (valid more than 6 months)
  • Emirates ID (valid more than 3 months)
  • Valid UAE Residence Visa (valid more than 3 months)
  • Proof of approved GCC profession category
Fee
OMR 5 (~AED 48) for Type 29N eVisa. UAE/GCC nationals enter visa-free.
Approval time
Usually approved in 2 to 24 hours online.
At the border
Better to get a prearranged eVisa. While on-arrival can be cleared at Hatta, Al Darah, or Khatm Al Shiklah border checkpoints for select professions, pre-arranging protects against long frontier line delays or professional category mismatches.
